From early on, I had my heart set on Bentine Gems. I don’t know why but it just felt like it was ‘meant to be’. Initially I had applied for a position at Bentine Gems in Sydney but was denied. Not long after, I found out that they had a branch in the Gold Coast so I chose to say goodbye to my friends in Sydney, packed my bags on my beloved Honda VT250cc and drove 900km to the Gold Coast.
7 attempts – that’s what it took for me to gain a position at Bentine Gems in the Gold Coast. Despite repeatedly being denied a position, my pride wouldn’t allow me to give up.
